Abdul Wahab Khan is a respected legal professional and public administrator in Bangladesh with extensive experience in law, governance, and corporate advisory. He currently serves as an Independent Director at JMI Group, contributing strategic guidance and regulatory oversight to support the organization’s corporate governance and long-term growth.
Mr. Khan completed his LL.M. from the University of Dhaka in 1986. Following his academic career, he began practicing law as an Advocate at the Judge Court, building a strong foundation in legal practice and judicial procedures.
In 1988, he joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Administration as an Assistant Commissioner and Magistrate at the Dinajpur Collectorate, marking the beginning of a distinguished career in public administration. Over the years, he developed valuable expertise in government administration, regulatory compliance, and policy implementation.
With his combined background in law, public administration, and governance, Mr. Wahab Khan plays an important role in strengthening transparency, accountability, and compliance within corporate structures. His experience in both public and private sectors allows him to provide strategic insight and balanced oversight in his role as an independent director.
